Introduction

FRC INTERNATIONAL provides training, qualifications and Continued Professional Development (PRODEV) for the professional Fast Response Craft (FRC) sector worldwide.

FRC PROFESSIONALS

FRC training focuses on the interaction between coxswain/crew and the craft/systems. The combined use of competence requirements and valid assessment enables FRC to develop training specifically for professional maritime operators.

This requirement includes understanding risk management, duty of care, relevant legislation, evolving technologies plus new operational tasks and scenarios.

FRC INTEROPERABILITY

New international training standards are required to address not just the competence of fast boat handling in the vicinity of other platforms, but the capability to be interoperable with other organisations and agencies during maritime operations.

FRC training recognises the growing need for professional/commercial maritime operators, including first-responders, to be interoperable with other craft, platforms and assets.
